Job Description

Customer Service Operations Specialist - Elizabeth, NJ is seeking self-motivated, detail oriented candidates to provide operational, technical and administrative support by way of a central monitor web interface.  The candidate will assist field operations’ in monitoring of basic assignment functions of fleet operations.  Candidates must enjoy working in a team environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide a minute to minute bus tracking nationwide using our in house GPS system
  • Coordinate service issues with hub dispatchers, outsourcers, and Elizabeth staff
  • Record details of service issues in the service book (in house log) for easy lookup
  • Communicate delays with passengers
  • Keep management informed of severe concerns with buses on the road
  • Monitor emergency alerts received from passengers, and passed on from the call center staff
  • Respond to customer inquiries concerns via phone, email, and SMS alerts
  • Confirm all fleet buses are assigned to a designated route
  • Handle the company’s social media outlets
  • Assist with answering and handling customer service emergency calls
  • Assist with Stranded/Denied passengers
  • Hand off to next person on duty
Minimum Requirements/Skills:
  • High School diploma
  • Call Center experience
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excell)
  • Ability to think independently
  • Ability to meet deadlines
